Dreamland is a place full of dreams and what best way to be a permanent resident of the Dreamland then being surrounded by the world of litratute, specially Fiction.
Some fictions are so incorporating that you can even see a reflection of your own life in the characters or protagonists. Personally my faviorate is Margret Mitchell's GONE WITH THE WIND. Its not because i identify myself with Scarlet o hara, but because i want my dream man to be like Rhett Butler(im sure many of the girls out there do ;-).
Though in this novel the backdrop is of Civil War, you still somehow feel its the story of your life and your contemporary times.(feel free to disagee, if you like on this point.
